This week marks National Hospital Week, a special time to recognize and celebrate the individuals who work hard each day to keep our community healthy.
Officials with Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville are taking the opportunity to say “thank you” to the hundreds of employees who work around the clock to care for local families.
While we often think of doctors and nurses, hospital leaders say it takes an entire team to save lives. That includes everyone from the engineers keeping the building running to the food service workers, volunteers, staff, and cleaning crews who keep patients safe and comfortable.
Hospital officials say their goal goes beyond just medical treatment—they want to provide hope and joy to those in their greatest time of need.
They encourage the community to share a simple “thank you” with any healthcare worker you see this week, in appreciation for the dedication shown to Hopkins County and neighboring areas.
