Hopkins County Voters Reminded of Key Details Ahead of Primary Election

With the primary election less than a week away, Hopkins County officials are reminding registered voters about important details regarding early in-person voting options and locations.

Deputy Clerk Jenny Menser says that early voting in Hopkins County will be available for three days, starting Thursday.

On Primary Election Day, Tuesday, she says the polls are open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., with 15 locations available in the county where any registered voter can cast their ballot..

click to download audioMenser explains that only two parties, Republicans and Democrats, hold a primary election, and third-party registered voters would only be able to cast a ballot in the non-partisan races or referendums on the ballot, such as a wet-dry vote.
