Explorers Day Camp is returning to Mahr Park Arboretum this summer, and due to high demand, the program is expanding to four sessions.
Led by Kelly Gates, the camp offers kids a chance to get hands-on with nature through fishing, hiking, and exploring local wildlife. The curriculum also includes unique mentoring in outdoor photography and lessons on the environment and agriculture.
The camp runs Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM. There are two sessions in June and two in July:
- June 8th through the 11th
- June 22nd through the 25th
- July 6th through the 9th
- July 20th through the 23rd
The registration fee of $100 is prepaid and covers all supplies and daily meals, including breakfast and lunch.
