Health Department Outreach Van Brings Vital Services to Hopkins County Towns

Residents across Hopkins County will have the opportunity to meet with health officials and access vital resources as the Hopkins County Health Department’s outreach van makes scheduled stops in four local towns this week.

Officials say they will offer information on a variety of health department services, such as the HANDS program, Women, Infants, and Children assistance, immunizations, harm reduction, mental health resources, help to quit smoking, and additional support options.

On Tuesday, the health department’s van was stationed at at the Earlington City Hall parking lot, located at 103 West Main Street.

On Wednesday, the van will be set up in the Housing Authority parking lot, directly across from the main office at 211 Pride Avenue in Madisonville.

On Thursday, the van will be in the parking lot across from City Hall in White Plains.

On Friday, it will be located at Dawson Springs Veterans Park in the town square.

The health department’s van will be available at each location from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily.
