Republican U.S. Senate candidate Daniel Cameron has announced a nine-day, 34-stop “Kentucky First Tour” leading up to the May 19 election, with a strong focus on western Kentucky in the opening days of the campaign swing.
Cameron will kick off the tour May 8 with multiple stops across the region, including events in Paducah, Mayfield, Madisonville, and Henderson—hitting four western Kentucky communities in a single day. The following day includes a stop in Owensboro, continuing the early emphasis on the western part of the state.
Later in the tour, Cameron returns to western Kentucky on May 14 with scheduled appearances in Glasgow, Hopkinsville, and Greenville, before wrapping that day in Bowling Green. The Hopkinsville stop highlights a visit to Christian County, bringing the campaign directly into the Pennyrile region.
In total, more than a third of the tour’s stops are concentrated in western Kentucky, signaling a targeted effort to engage voters in that part of the state during the final stretch of the race.
Cameron says the tour will take him “to every corner of the Commonwealth” to meet with voters and local leaders, adding that the race comes down to trust and shared values. Campaign officials say it is the only statewide effort of its scale in the contest.
The campaign is inviting media to attend stops along the tour with advance RSVP.
