Over $430 million is headed to the 4th State Senate District under Kentucky’s newly passed two-year road plan.

State Senator Robby Mills says the funding—which kicks in July—covers Hopkins, Webster, Union, and Henderson counties.

According to Senator Mills, the bulk of that investment is earmarked for Kentucky’s portion of the high-profile I-69 bridge project.

But it’s not just about the big bridges. Mills says over $1.5 million will go toward the Local Assistance Road Plan. Those funds are designed to help cities like Earlington, Corydon, Uniontown, and Hanson repair their “neediest” local streets.

Mills says he is proud to bring that financial support back from Frankfort to keep Northwest Kentucky moving.

Mills serves the 4th State Senate District, which includes the counties of Henderson, Hopkins, Webster and Union.
