Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle wreck that occurred in Greenville on Friday.
The Greenville Police Department says that the fatal crash occurred on Robert L. Draper Way, also known as the KY 189 Bypass, shortly after 11:30 Friday morning.
Authorities say an SUV was traveling northbound when, near the Muhlenberg County High School, for unknown reasons, the vehicle left the road and overturned. They say the 70-year-old female driver was extricated and airlifted to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, where she died from her injuries.
According to police, two passengers in the vehicle, an adult male and a juvenile, were transported to Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
