The City of Madisonville has announced the artist lineup for the 2nd Annual Madisonville Salutes on Saturday, May 16th, at Madisonville City Park.

According to organizers, the free concert kicks off at 6:00 p.m. and will feature headliner country music artist Colt Ford, with special guest Sarah Beth Brewer opening the show. Ford, known for blending country, hip-hop, and rock, has earned multiple top ten Billboard albums and sold over three million records.

According to organizers, the day will be packed with activities, including live music, tournaments, vendor booths, and a variety of exhibits. They say car enthusiasts can check out the car show from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m, and military recruiting booths will also be on site for those interested in learning more about service.

The day-long patriotic event unites the Madisonville community to celebrate and honor military service members, veterans, and their families, recognizing their sacrifice and showcasing hometown pride.

In a written statement, Mayor Kevin Cotton says Madisonville Salutes is an opportunity for the community to come together and honor the men and women who have served our country. He said they are proud to host an event that recognizes their contributions while providing a meaningful and family-friendly experience for residents and visitors alike.

Throughout the afternoon, attendees can enjoy food trucks, a beer garden, and a chance to visit several on-site memorials honoring veterans, including the WW II Memorial, Vietnam War Memorial, Korean War Memorial, and First Responders Memorial. The day-long event will wrap up with the concert.
