The Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training’s western campus in Madisonville reached a new milestone earlier this month. According to state officials, the Western Kentucky Law Enforcement Training campus launched its first in-service training course, focused on Active Shooter Response.
They said this debut course highlights the ongoing commitment to keep law enforcement officers across the Commonwealth ready, resilient, and professional.
Leaders said this successful in-service training marks just the beginning of more innovative and practical programs to come, helping officers both in their basic training and throughout their careers.
