Teachers leave a meaningful impact on our communities, and now you can help recognize those who go above and beyond in the classroom.

Madisonville Community College is accepting nominations for the Regional Education Partnership Excellence in Teaching Award, which recognizes teaching excellence in elementary, middle, and high schools. Public school partners from Caldwell, Crittenden, Dawson Springs, Hopkins, Muhlenberg, and Webster County districts, along with Madisonville Community College and Murray State University, have created the award to acknowledge the importance of teachers and the teaching profession.

Nominations are open through Friday, March 27. Eligible nominees must be full-time regular classroom teachers with at least three years of experience in either Caldwell, Crittenden, Dawson Springs, Hopkins, Muhlenberg, or Webster County. Recipients will be selected by a committee made up of educators and administrators from each district and representatives from the colleges.
