A Madisonville woman was arrested Wednesday night on a warrant for theft.
According to the Madisonville Police Department, 26-year-old Ashley Hibbs was taken into custody on a Hopkins County District Court complaint warrant around 9:00 p.m. on West Noel Avenue. She was charged with theft by unlawful taking over $1,000 but less than $10,000.
Further details about the charge were not released.
Hibbs was booked into the Hopkins County Jail and has since been released.
