The City of Dawson Springs has announced an upcoming groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the start of reconstruction for the new City park and pool.
According to officials, the city has finally received funding and approval to move forward with rebuilding the City Park and City Pool, which were destroyed by the December 10, 2021, tornado.
City officials said in a statement that “words cannot express the exhilaration that the rebuild of the park and pool means to Dawson Springs and its citizens.”
The groundbreaking celebration for the newly to-be-constructed City Park and City Pool in Dawson Springs will be on Friday, February 13, at 1:00 p.m.
