The Hopkins County Board of Education recently honored the High Voltage dance team from Hopkins County Central High School for their outstanding achievement as state runners-up at the Kentucky High School Athletic Association State Dance Championship.
School officials said the team tied for second place in the large hip hop division—marking the highest finish ever for the school at the KHSAA State competition.
In addition, Hopkins County Central High School placed seventh in the pom division.
The High Voltage dance team was recognized during the Board meeting on January 12th for their exceptional state performance and for capturing the Regional Championship. Their next stop: Nationals.
