With a Winter Storm Warning and a Cold Weather Advisory headed our way, National Weather Service forecaster Justin Gibbs says the snow is still on the way.
A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for all of western Kentucky, taking effect tonight at 6:00 and continuing through Sunday night.
Gibbs says the region could receive several inches of snow.
A cold weather advisory will also take effect tonight at 6:00 and continue through 6:00 Sunday night, with temperatures expected in the single digits at night this weekend, with wind chills below zero Sunday night and Monday night.
The low Saturday morning is expected to drop to 12 degrees with a wind chill of two below zero, while the low temperature Monday and Tuesday morning could hover around zero with a wind chill of 8 to 10 degrees below zero.
