In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, City of Madisonville offices and the Madisonville Sanitation Department will be closed on Monday, January 19th. Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, January 20, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
City officials also announced that trash and recycling routes will operate on a one-day delay.
Monday’s pickups will take place on Tuesday, and Tuesday’s route will be serviced on Wednesday.
Collections for Wednesday will move to Thursday, Thursday’s pickups will shift to Friday, and the usual Friday route will be completed on Saturday.
