The Hopkins County Clerk’s Office drew ballot positions on Thursday, deciding the order for Republican candidates running for jailer, two magisterial districts, and one of the six nonpartisan ward races for the City of Madisonville.
For jailer, Lydon Logan will appear as the number one candidate on the ballot, with incumbent Mike Lewis as the number two candidate.
For Magistrate District 3, Tim Riggs is number one, and David Wiley is number two.
For Magistrate District 4, Joseph Hemmerle is number one, and incumbent Ronnie Noel is number two.
For Madisonville City Council Ward 6, which is nonpartisan, Kim MuMurtrie Jones is number one, Ricky “Rik” Woosley is number two, and Devi Thorp is number three.
The 2026 Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, May 19th.
