A holiday tradition of giving is continuing in Hopkins County, bringing joy to local children this Christmas.
According to school officials, Hopkins County Board of Education member Steve Faulk and his family recently donated baby dolls and other toys to the Family Resource and Youth Services Center at West Broadway Elementary School. They said the gifts were given in memory of his sister, Karen Wilson, and his wife, Pam Faulk.
The family has reportedly made annual contributions to Karen’s Christmas Baby Dolls toy drive for several years, and expanded their efforts this year to also honor Pam. School officials said the toys will be distributed to children through the district’s Family Resource and Youth Services Centers.
School officials thanked Faulk and his family for their generous donation to benefit the district’s kids.
