A teenager was injured Monday morning when a car collided with his horse and buggy on Hopkinsville Road in Caldwell County.

Sheriff Don Weedman says that an investigation found that 35-year-old Jaime Campbell of Elkton was driving southbound when, near the four-mile marker, he collided with a horse-drawn buggy traveling in the same direction. He says that a 17-year-old boy from Dawson Springs was thrown from the buggy and suffered several injuries.

The Princeton Fire Department and AmeriPro EMS assisted the Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
