Another candidate has filed to appear on the 2026 election ballot in Hopkins County.
Democratic candidate Darrell Todd officially entered the race for District 2 constable by filing his paperwork on December 17. The position is currently held by Brian Hicks, who, as of Friday, has yet to file for re-election.
The deadline for all candidates to file for the primary election is January 9, 2026. Voting in the primary is on May 19, 2026.
