Henderson Resident Taken to Hospital After Madisonville Wreck

A Henderson resident was injured in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of South Main and Sugg streets in Madisonville on Thursday.

Madisonville Police say the crash happened at about 12:10 p.m. when an SUV driven by 47-year-old Shannon Knight turned from Sugg Street onto South Main Street without yielding and pulled in front of a southbound vehicle driven by 77-year-old Judy Fletcher of Madisonville. Police say Fletcher’s front bumper collided with the driver’s side of Knight’s SUV.

According to police, Knight was transported by ambulance to the hospital for treatment of injuries
