
Crime Stoppers of Hopkins County recently announced the winners of the Hidden Hero Contest.
According to Hopkins County Schools, top honors were awarded to the following students:
• Elementary Poster Contest – Rylan Bowman, Jesse Stuart Elementary;
• Middle School Poster Contest – Jemma Geary, South Hopkins Middle;
• High School Poster Contest – David Carson, Hopkins County Central;
• PSA Contest – Brodey Lamar, Aundreias Murphy, DeAreon Duncans, Myles Aune, and Riley Goff of Hopkins County Central.
Bowman, Geary, and Carson each received $100, while Lamar, Murphy, Duncans, Aune, and Goff — the winners of the Hidden Hero PSA contest — won a total of $500.
Every student in Hopkins County Schools and Dawson Springs Independent Schools was eligible to enter the Crime Stoppers of Hopkins County Hidden Hero Contest by creating a poster and a sixty-second public service announcement video, reel, or TikTok to raise awareness for the organization.
