A driver was injured Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash near North Main Street and YMCA Drive in Madisonville.
Madisonville Police reported that the crash occurred around 5:50 a.m. when 73-year-old Vaughn Cook of Madisonville stated he was driving north on North Main Street and 39-year-old Joe Robinson, also of Madisonville, pulled out in front of him.
Police said Robinson told officers he was turning left onto North Main Street from YMCA Drive when his car was struck by Cook’s vehicle, and explained he did not see Cook because Cook’s headlights were not on.
According to police, Cook was taken by Medical Center Ambulance to Baptist Health Deaconess with possible minor injuries.
