United Way of the Coalfield Seeks Nominations for Community Impact Awards

The United Way of the Coalfield is once again asking the community to help recognize those who make a difference every day.

Executive Director Ashley Alexander says that nominations are now being accepted for the Community Impact Awards in Caldwell, Hopkins, and Muhlenberg counties.

click to download audioTo nominate someone, simply email a short letter by December first, highlighting what sets your nominee apart and how they make a positive difference in the community.

Alexander says the nonprofit is increasing its work in the three counties.

click to download audioAccording to Alexander, the United Way’s presence in the Hopkins County community is becoming more significant.

click to download audioShe says that the United Way has now transitioned to an impact-focused agency.

click to download audioShe also notes that the organization continues to offer grants and is actively visiting local agencies throughout all three counties.

Again, the deadline to submit your nomination for the Community Impact Awards is December 1st. Alexander says recipients from each of the three counties will be honored at the United Way of the Coalfield’s Annual Celebration in January, recognizing their service and dedication to building stronger, more compassionate communities throughout Western Kentucky.
