The Madisonville Lions Club KidSight program is encouraging local families to take advantage of an upcoming chance to ensure their children’s vision is healthy and strong.
Officials say the KidSight team has been actively offering free eye screenings to Hopkins County students in PreK through eighth grade.
As of October 3rd, the Lions Club reported 1,106 students have been screened, with 155 students referred for further evaluation.
Officials announced that Lions Club KidSight will host a county-wide free eye screening for children and youth ages 3 to 17 on Saturday, November 22, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Madisonville Lions Club Building at 505 Hospital Drive.
