President Alisa Coleman of Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville stated in the announcement that the successful accreditation survey highlights the team’s dedication to excellence. She emphasized that earning this accreditation is a significant accomplishment, recognizing their ongoing commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, and compassionate care to their patients and the community.
According to hospital officials, accreditation is a process that allows healthcare organizations to show they meet national standards. Being accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care highlights an organization’s dedication to upholding those standards and providing a higher level of performance and patient care.
Chief Nursing Officer Christy Littrell at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville said they not only achieved accreditation, but did so with the highest level of success. She noted that this accreditation validates the hospital and staff’s dedication to meeting strict federal standards and maintaining clinical excellence, not just during the survey, but every day for every patient.
The Accreditation Commission for Health Care is a nonprofit organization recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and has been a symbol of quality and excellence since 1986.
