Motorists who travel Center Street in Madisonville will need to plan an alternate route on Wednesday.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials have announced that CSX Railroad will close all four lanes of Center Street at the railroad bridge next to Wendy’s from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday for maintenance work on the railroad bridge.
While the closure is in effect, officials note that through traffic will be rerouted along North Main Street, Island Ford Road, and Interstate 69.
