A Hanson man was charged with drug possession after a request to check his welfare on Interstate 169 in Hopkinsville Thursday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped to check on 37-year-old Andrew Marlow, who was asleep in his vehicle on the side of the road.
While talking with him, he reportedly gave consent to search the vehicle, and five white pills and a gun were located.
He was arrested and charged with possession of hydrocodone.
