Darin Dublin mugshot/Hopkins County Jail
A Hardin man has been indicted in connection with a deadly assault outside a Madisonville restaurant in June.
The Hopkins County Grand Jury issued a true bill for Darin Dublin on a single count of reckless homicide, a Class D felony.
On June 15, Madisonville Police were called to El Bracero Mexican Restaurant on Chelsea Street after reports of an assault in the parking lot. Police said when officers arrived, they found Roger McCarty on the ground, unresponsive and bleeding from his head. According to police, emergency responders provided first aid and performed CPR before transporting McCarty to the hospital in critical condition, where he later died.
Police say Dublin left the scene but was later located nearby and taken into custody. He is currently being held in the Hopkins County Jail.
