Western Kentucky experienced significant heat Monday, and as the day progressed, the heat index, or “feels like” temperature, increased, impacting residents across the area, with readings in some locations surpassing 120 degrees.

116°F – Trigg County
115°F – McLean County
114°F – Ballard County
113°F – Henderson County
112°F – Marshall County
111°F – Crittenden County
110°F – Fulton County
109°F – Caldwell County, Christian County, Todd County
Evening hours brought little cool-down, with overnight temperatures and humidity levels remaining high. Similar conditions are expected across the region Tuesday and possibly into Wednesday.
