A home on Madisonville Road in Crofton was destroyed in a fire Saturday afternoon.
Crofton Fire department Chief Tim Terrell says they were called to the 14000 block of Madisonville Road for a home engulfed in flames.
No one was injured Terrell says adding the cause of the fire is unknown but it started in the kitchen and laundry room area.
The American Red Cross was called to assist the family.
