A motorcycle accident in Lyon County sent a Muhlenberg County man to the hospital over the weekend.
Sheriff Brent White says the crash happened around 2:00 Saturday afternoon on Kentucky 93 South near Palisades Drive, when 46-year-old Bryan Wickersheim of Greenville lost control of his motorcycle, ran off the road, and struck a ditch after following another vehicle too closely as it applied its brakes.
Deputies say a second motorcycle, ridden by 42-year-old Bradley Lynn of Wickliffe, was following Wickersheim and also lost control, causing Lynn to lay his bike on its side.
According to deputies, three people were hurt in the crash; however, only Wickersheim was taken to an area hospital for treatment, while the other two declined medical transport.
