A Marion man was killed when his tractor-trailer overturned in McLean County Tuesday evening.
According to Kentucky State Police Post 16 in Henderson, they received a call from McLean County Dispatch around 5:20 p.m. reporting a wreck in the 13000 block of KY 56 near Beech Grove.
They said a preliminary investigation revealed that 59-year-old Brad Jones was driving a tractor-trailer eastbound on KY 56 when he ran off the shoulder, lost control, crossed both lanes, and overturned onto the driver’s side, blocking the road.
Police said Jones was taken by ambulance to Baptist Health in Madisonville, where he was pronounced dead.
State Police are continuing to investigate the fatal crash.
