A Princeton man is facing numerous charges after his arrest early Tuesday morning on multiple warrants related to assault, property damage, and probation violations.

Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison says 29-year-old Joseph Moore was taken into custody shortly before 7 a.m. on two Caldwell County arrest warrants charging him with first-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree assault.

According to Allison, the charges stem from two separate investigations, one on April 17 and another on April 26, in which officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence near the 300 block of North Plum Street.

He says the investigation revealed that Moore had assaulted the victim and damaged property during both incidents.

Moore was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.

Around 7:15 Tuesday morning, officers served Moore with three Hopkins County bench warrants at the jail, charging him with three counts of failure to appear and three counts of probation violations for felony offenses.
