Governor Andy Beshear joined local leaders and Biomass Engineering and Equipment to break ground on a $20 million facility in Muhlenberg County last week.

Officials with the Pennyrile Area Development District announced the new facility is located in Paradise Regional Industrial Park in Greenville. They said it will create 250 quality jobs and also mark the first development at the site — a big win for the community and state.

Officials indicate that Biomass Engineering and Equipment’s investment supports growing industries like biomass, biofuels, and advanced recycling, and will push their Kentucky workforce to over 300 employees.

In a written statement, Muhlenberg County Judge/Executive Mark McGehee said they are proud to support forward-thinking industries that recognize the potential of our region.
