The Hopkins County Board of Education has selected Martha Phelps to serve as the new Division 1 representative, following the retirement of Josh Osborne.
According to school officials, Phelps is the office manager and does appraisal research for G. Herbert Pritchett & Associates. She was formerly a business administrator instructor and director of the TRIO Talent Search for Madisonville Community College. She holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, both from Murray State University.
Phelps will be sworn in in July.
