Madisonville officials have announced that all city offices will be closed on Thursday in observance of Juneteenth National Independence Day.
In observance of Juneteenth, the Sanitation Department will also be closed on Thursday. Regular service will continue through Wednesday, with Thursday’s routes moved to Friday and Friday’s routes to Saturday.
