Former Caldwell Deputy Jailer Arrested For Theft

A former Caldwell County Deputy Jailer will appear in Caldwell District Court Monday morning for arraigment on theft charges.

Former Deputy 33-year-old Dustin Driver of Princeton is lodged in the Fulton County Jail facing Theft by Unlawful Taking charges. Driver was arrested by Kentucky State Police and lodged in the Fulton County Jail Thursday, June 12. The Fulton County Jail website list Driver's charge as Theft by Unlawful Taking involving more than $10,000.

Although he could not comment on the investigation, Caldwell County Jailer Willie Harper confirmed to Your News Edge Driver was a deputy jailer, but is not longer employed by the jail. He said he cannot speak concerning an ongoing investigation.

Kentucky State Police have released no information concerning the investigation or Driver's arrest.

Driver is scheduled to appear in Caldwell Circuit Court for arraignment Monday, June 16th, at 8:30.
