On May 21 the senior class of Hopkins County Central High School closed an important chapter in their lives.
The class was small, but impactful, as shown by the ten students honored with the titles Valedictorian, Salutatorian, and Co-Valedictorians. One of those students, Jessica Lawless, chose to give a farewell speech to the packed gym.
She began with a statement: High school is not supposed to be the best four years of your life.
