The Madisonville Police Department has expanded its ranks with the addition of Officer Steven Ealey, who was officially sworn in during a recent ceremony.

According to officials from the Madisonville Police Department, Officer Ealey is a native of Hopkinsville and a 2019 graduate of Christian County High School. That same year, officials said he enlisted in the United States Army. They said during his four years of active duty—and an additional year in the Army Reserves—he served with the Engineer Brigade at Fort Hood.

Officials noted that Ealey’s dedication and excellence were recognized with multiple military honors, including the Army Achievement Medal and two Army Good Conduct Medals.

Officials said they are proud to welcome such a dedicated and accomplished individual to the Madisonville Police Department, adding that his background in discipline, service, and leadership will be a valuable asset to the community.
