A home on North Old Madisonville Street in Crofton was destroyed in a fire Wednesday morning.
Crofton firefighters say they were called for smoke coming from the home at the intersection of Kelvin Drive and found a large fire in the back of the vacant home.
No one was injured in the fire, and the cause has not been determined.
Firefighters from Lacy, Westside, Northwest, and Mannington were all called to help in extinguishing the fire.
