The Hopkins County Fiscal Court has authorized Judge-Executive Jack Whitfield to solicit proposals for a new debris removal contract and approved a contract for the county’s safe rooms project.
During Tuesday morning’s meeting, Judge Whitfield announced that the debris removal contract has expired and expressed his intention to solicit proposals for a new one.

In other business, the magistrates unanimously approved a contract with Spurr Architecture for the Hopkins County Safe Rooms project.
