
It was a wonderful night in downtown Madisonville Saturday as the community gathered to celebrate the 25th annual Kiwanis Club Christmas Parade, showcasing a record number of entries this year.
The parade lasted for more than an hour and included the following entry winners:
Best Decorated Vehicle: Greater Lighthouse
Best Decorated Fire Truck: Anton Fire Department

2nd Runner-Up: Owensboro 40&8 V807 Train
1st Runner-Up: Jesse Stuart Elementary School
Grand Prize: Southside Elementary School
For over 90 years, the Christmas parade has been a beloved tradition in downtown Madisonville. This year marked the 25th anniversary of the Madisonville Noon Kiwanis Club’s sponsorship, with the theme for this milestone event being “Silver Bells – It’s Christmas Time in the City.”
