Cancer survivors and their families will have a chance to connect in Madisonville and celebrate this weekend.
The Merle M. Mahr Cancer Center is inviting the community to recognize National Cancer Survivors Day on Sunday, June 7th.
The event is open to both current cancer fighters and survivors. Organizers say the afternoon is designed to honor the bravery of patients while providing an opportunity for fellowship, food, and fun.
The gathering will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Mahr Park Arboretum in Event Barn A. A meal will be served to all who attend.
