A local student’s artwork will soon be featured on the cover of a regional creativity journal.
Hopkins County Schools announced on Wednesday that Lillian Cunningham’s piece, titled “Still Waters,” was selected for the cover of the 2026 PressPoint Journal of Creativity. Cunningham submitted the artwork when she was a fourth-grader at West Broadway Elementary, and she now attends West Hopkins School.
District officials say several other local students earned “Best In” category honors. Winners include Audrey Bunch and Valerie Bernal of Madisonville North Hopkins High School, Cooper Laskowski and Peyton Hambric of Browning Springs Middle School, and Mattie Beck of West Hopkins School.
PressPoint is organized annually by the Hopkins County Schools District Services for Gifted and Talented.
