The Hopkins County Career and Technology Center awarded 10 scholarships during its annual Awards Day ceremony.
School officials say the Bill and Nadean Young Scholarships were presented to graduating seniors Anna Sampson, Annie Holmes, Reese Richey, Camrun Eaves, Kaily Bivin, Kaden Vickery, Allie Matheny, Chloe Adcock, Alanna Hughlett, and Heavin Sharp.
According to officials with the Career and Technology Center, Bill and Nadean Young are longtime Hopkins County residents and former and current local business owners who support career and technical education opportunities for students.
The scholarships total $10,000, with each student receiving a one-time $1,000 award to attend a college or technical school of their choice after graduation.
