The Hopkins County Board of Education marked a milestone on Monday, officially unveiling its new central office with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house, celebrating years of planning and collaboration among district leaders.
At the ceremony, former Superintendent Amy Smith said the new central office has been a long-term vision supported by past and current administrators working together. She called the building “more than just a physical structure.”

School Board Chair Nicholas Foster called the ribbon cutting “the start to a new era in Hopkins County Schools.”

Assistant Superintendent for Operations Marty Klein said he was honored to help oversee the project from the design phase through the ribbon-cutting.

Following the remarks, the ribbon was cut, and community members were welcomed to an open house with light refreshments and self-guided tours.
