The healthcare provider says the new patient communication system will make it easier to get important updates. Patients may now receive text messages, phone calls, emails, and MyChart messages with reminders and helpful information.
According to hospital officials, patients can text “START” to 817647 to sign up for text updates. These messages may include upcoming appointments, recent visits, medication reminders, and billing notifications.
Hospital officials say the goal is to make communication simpler and keep patients informed every step of the way.
They indicate standard message and data rates may apply. Patients can stop messages at any time by texting “STOP.”
