Dozens of students from Madisonville North Hopkins High School are celebrating a dominant performance at the 2026 Murray Field Day.

Thirty-nine FFA members traveled to Murray State University on Wednesday, coming home with a massive haul of regional and state-level hardware.

The school’s Ag Mechanics and Small Power teams both secured first-place regional finishes, officially qualifying them for the Kentucky State Fair. Individually, Ari Fisk took the top spot in Ag Mechanics, while Westyn Miles placed third and Brayden Lynch took second in Small Power.

The success continued in the plant sciences, where Madisonville North Hopkins earned the First Place Kentucky Horticulture Overall Team distinction. The Floriculture team also placed first, while the Nursery team took second.

Other notable finishes included a third-place state finish for the Poultry Evaluation team, as well as strong showings in Wildlife Management, Veterinary Science, and Livestock Evaluation.
