Hopkins County commuters should expect delays beginning Monday as Kentucky Highway 254, also known as Brown Road, will close for maintenance.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says crews plan to close a section of Brown Road to replace cross drains between the McLean County line and Eastlawn Road. The closure is scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, with the road expected to be blocked off between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. each day.
Drivers are encouraged to seek an alternate route, as the roadway will be impassable during those work hours.
