The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office is reminding residents that property tax collections for the 2025 tax year will close on April 15th at 4:00 p.m. After this deadline, any unpaid property tax bills will be handed over to the Hopkins County Clerk’s Office for further collection.
Authorities say residents should be aware that once the bills are transferred, additional fees will be added to the amount owed. To avoid extra charges, the Sheriff’s Office encourages everyone to settle property tax payments before April 15th.
